Twin Knobs is one of our favorite campgrounds when combined with getting on the lake. Overall, their sites are well taken care of and clean. A couple suggestions though on overall design and amenities; Some of the sites are very difficult to back a trailer into as there are significant drop offs from the road and site pads. Filling in or expanding the approaches to the sites would help guard against damaging trucks and trailers. Second is to increase the number of sites with electric. Half the campground is primitive, and they have electric run to the bathrooms on these loops, so why not have electric to the sites?

Great shade! About a 2 min walk to the bathhouse. A 3 min walk to the dumpster. Big enough for a camper, 2 6 person tents, and canopy over a picnic table. Can park 2 cars there with that set up. About 45 sec walk to the nearest water spigot. About a 1 min walk to the lake trail. Stayed 6 nights. Can't wait to do a 10 day trip next year.

Everyone was very friendly and the campground and bathrooms were very neat and clean. We really liked that there were stores and places to eat nearby. We will definitely be staying again soon.

The facilities and areas are clean and we could tell a difference from last year. The lake is the same. Now, in my opinion the cost per night and car fee for an extra car is excessive. The one good thing I see about the high fees is it seems to be thinning the crowd. I say this because in past years the place is usually full and instead, the loop we were in was mostly abandoned. Keep raising the fee, I don't care.....
