Zilpo Campground is praised for its beautiful location, clean campsites, and friendly staff, making for a generally enjoyable camping experience. Our family camped 2 nights in H loop spot 019. There is a fairly easy trail from the site that goes to the water. We fished, skipped rocks, and just enjoyed the view. Facilities were clean and accessible.

A very nice, quiet spot at the back of the loop. It was shaded, even in the middle of the day. Highly recommend!

We’ve stayed at Zilpo twice this summer and both times the campground beach was closed ,which was kind of a bummer, and also only one bath house on our loop was open. Our stays were over all pleasant. Cell coverage for AT&T was dicey. We will return.

Nice, quiet location with friendly staff. I have been going here for 10 years and it always kept clean. Great location near boat dock, beach, and another area to swim where you can pull up your boat (they don't call it a beach, but it is basically one). My favorite place to relax during the summer months.
