What Guests Are Saying
Baileys Point offers beautiful lake views and clean facilities, with many campers praising the friendly atmosphere and attentive hosts. While some areas, particularly the grass and bathrooms, need better maintenance, many still find the campground to be a favorite for its peacefulness and scenic beauty. Despite some concerns about upkeep and overcrowding, the overall experience remains positive for returning visitors.

Campground check in booth only open 2 hrs daily (4 to 6 pm), Usually can swim and do other lake activities , but water level way below normal level due to lack of rainfall. Be sure and try Paradise Point restaurant if you are there on a weekend. They have assorted quiches, biscuits with or without gravy, other breads, muffins and pastries. Go early as they run out due to only making so much quanity.

We have camped for years here but each season the campground continues to go down hill. Grass was tall and the bathrooms had sewage running out of the drains. We could not use them. If the right people came they would be CLOSED. A rundown area!

We had to leave early because the bugs was so bad we couldn’t even sit outside they got all in our camper and vehicles by the hundreds of them . Y’all need to spray at Baileys ,it’s terrible . We have reservations for July also but considering not going back because of these little mosquito type of flying insects . It was terrible . We always have a few but this trip they was worse than they have ever been . Very disappointing.

C07 was a good spot for camping and close to the shower house but all the drains clogged up and couldn't shower or use that restroom. Also the bathrooms didn't have any toliet paper so good thing I brought my own. Bathrooms was not very clean at all. One shower stall had hair in the drain like a dog just got a haircut in it and the bathrooms had bugs alive and dead all in them. If you had a camper you would be fine.
