What Guests Are Saying
Baileys Point offers beautiful lake views and clean facilities, with many campers praising the friendly atmosphere and attentive hosts. While some areas, particularly the grass and bathrooms, need better maintenance, many still find the campground to be a favorite for its peacefulness and scenic beauty. Despite some concerns about upkeep and overcrowding, the overall experience remains positive for returning visitors.

Site was okay, needs work though. Weeds growing up around site in the rocks and what’s left of the railroad ties. Site needs repairs from last flood of lake washing site out. 2 dump stations isn’t enough for the campground but when when one is down and you make 200 campers get in line for 1 dump stations isn’t enough is absolutely ridiculous! Stop band-aid’n this campground and actually make repairs!!!

Previous camper did not vacate site until 5:30, 1-hour late. Informed campground host, who although he was very friendly, never actually addressed the issue with camper. Just did several drive-by’s of the site and gave us updates when site was empty.

We’ve been going to Bailey’s since the 70’s. The past 8-10 yrs there has been a slow decline in the maintenance of campsites and electrical hook ups. Love the campground but definitely needs some TLC.

We usually love Baileys but it is need of some TLC. We arrived on a Thursday and both mens and women's bathrooms (in A) were in horrible shape and most stalls out of toilet paper. Infested with bugs (I know its outside but worse than usual maybe because grass needed to be cut or maybe they didnt spray) . Also, this used to be a place monitored and respectable. People were driving golf carts all hours and through the grass everywhere. They were being left on the road as people were swimming or going out on boats. People we putting up tents by our site in the grass and not close to theirs (I don't mind tents but put them by your site not mine.)
I have been coming here for 30ish years and it just keeps getting worse and worse. People don't respect the campground, the rules, or each other. Its very sad.

We love Baileys Point always enjoy our time there. The only thing we see that needs attention is the bathhouses . They are getting pretty old and need some upgrades. We always enjoy seeing the sunsets there ❤️❤️

Play grounds are nice. P.R.O.O.F just up the road has food trucks and live music, always a good time.

Very nice camp grounds, lots of places to walk and explore, lots of playgrounds. Being so close to the water is unique. .

This was my third time in the last 3 years camping at Baileys. Very disappointed in the condition of the overall grounds. Weeds all around the campsites. It is like they have nobody caring for the grounds. This used to be my favorite campground in the state, but not anymore.
