Place has run down over the years, need money spent on wash houses to upgrade them, grass needs to be cut more often, campsites needs some work with leveling with rock or pave them, wash picnic tables, new fire pits and light poles.

Beautiful views, nice sites. We met several nice people in the campground we enjoyed bike riding and hiking and even did some kayaking. And I was amazed how clean the bathrooms and showers were, one of the best I’ve ever been to.

Perfect site with perfect view

We paid for two nights on an electric site and camping with a tent. Check in time was not until five which left us hardly any time to set up. The picture of the site looked somewhat level but when we arrive it was a steep hill. We ended up putting our tent up at the bottom of the hill but it was next to a drainage ditch and rain was coming. Our electric hook up box was not usable. My husband has a c-pap so i was up all night the first night watching him. Next morning we checked the box and it looked like it had been shorted out with black marks around the plug. I tried three times on Saturday to catch the park attendant and they were not in the booth or in their trailer. Because of safety reasons, we packed up and left and di not stay the second night. It would be nice if i could get a refund for the second night. I was very disappoint with this visit and will not be back.

While i had a good experience, i just wish i would have had a little more information about my site selection (B-50). Being a pull through, non-electric site, i figured it would be good for tent camping. It would have been if there was room for a tent. I was able to squeeze onto the pad between the table and the fire pit. There was one spot that was semi level in the grass that might have worked, but a very tall tree that had two dead limbs (widow makers), near the top and winds expected, i deferred from that location. Wasn’t able to get a lot of sleep between a very loud barking dog on one side and two active young boys on the other that started their days before sun up. I understand that that is just part of any camp, so I can handle that. Otherwise I thought the camp was clean and shower houses in above average shape.

This location was ideal, close to a body of water, easy to see a sunrise and sunset. Restrooms are a bit spread out, all amenities mentioned are in description.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
