Baileys Point offers beautiful lake views and clean facilities, with many campers praising the friendly atmosphere and attentive hosts. While some areas, particularly the grass and bathrooms, need better maintenance, many still find the campground to be a favorite for its peacefulness and scenic beauty. Despite some concerns about upkeep and overcrowding, the overall experience remains positive for returning visitors.

Grew up on this lake. Baileys Point has always been the go-to campground. Disappointed in this most recent trip. The campground is not being maintained well. Debris everywhere. Site composite border members are displaced. Dumpsters overflowing.

Great location overlooking the lake, our spot was not as close to other spots as some. Access to water a little further away than what we’re used to, required 75 ft of hose. Wonderful campground, great walks. Had great weather and AT&T cellular coverage was good. Bathrooms and showers were fair at best. “No-see-um” biting midges were really bad. Dumpsters were full all week. It was the first week of the season. Attendant volunteer was super nice and helpful. We plan on returning.

Bailey’s Point is probably my favorite COE campground. Most sights have something of a water view; some more so than others. The bath houses are clean but need updating; some are better than others so you can use the ones that suit you best. The 2 dump stations are across the road from each other and can be congested on popular checkout days (Sunday in particular). Some sites are tight to get in to but not terrible if you are proficient at backing up.
