Baileys Point offers beautiful lake views and clean facilities, with many campers praising the friendly atmosphere and attentive hosts. While some areas, particularly the grass and bathrooms, need better maintenance, many still find the campground to be a favorite for its peacefulness and scenic beauty. Despite some concerns about upkeep and overcrowding, the overall experience remains positive for returning visitors.

It’s a beautiful park and the sites are very nice. Our issue was the camp hosts were not friendly. We brought our golf cart and used it to explore the park but didn’t realize this was not allowed. They were not nice in telling us we could not use it in that manor. We then rode it to the beach and parked it on the gravel and she again said that was not allowed. We felt like everything we did was not allowed. We ended up packing up camp and going to Barren River State Park. The hosts are much more friendly.

Excellent location and the park staff abs very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful!
The ONE drawback we had was dog poop in the grass. There should be a $100 fine imposed for dog owners who don’t clean up their dogs crap! Some of us enjoy TENT camping and NOTHING kills the joy of tent camping like stepping in dog crap from another careless camper! Besides this it’s a great place to camp!
