The campground was unkept. It needed mowing very badly. I never got a parking tag because no one was ever at the office as I came and went.

Baileys Point offers beautiful lake views and clean facilities, with many campers praising the friendly atmosphere and attentive hosts. While some areas, particularly the grass and bathrooms, need better maintenance, many still find the campground to be a favorite for its peacefulness and scenic beauty. Despite some concerns about upkeep and overcrowding, the overall experience remains positive for returning visitors.

Really enjoyed Bailey’s Point for water fun. No trails to walk so that was only minus for me. Campsite very tight and hard to get in, but close to water so that helped that negative.

I do not know what has happened to the grounds keeping (mowing) this year!!
every time we have been up the grass has been extremely tall. A few of us have asked and I know one fella that went and got his mower to mow! Just an observation. when we were leaving last camp the mowers were mowing! We use to be Proud of our Beautiful Ky Park systems.. Budget cuts right!? I have been camping at Baileys Point since 1970!

Great campground. Nice and quiet and the staff is always friendly. The campground host comes through the campground quite often, which is very nice. Our favorite campground on Barren River Lake, by far.
