Baileys Point offers beautiful lake views and clean facilities, with many campers praising the friendly atmosphere and attentive hosts. While some areas, particularly the grass and bathrooms, need better maintenance, many still find the campground to be a favorite for its peacefulness and scenic beauty. Despite some concerns about upkeep and overcrowding, the overall experience remains positive for returning visitors.

Over all, we always have a great time. But, we have noticed since COVID, the camp grounds have gone down in regards to maintenance. Bathroom and camping sites mainly. Cleaning is fine. Camp sites with grass and weeds growing, not enough gravel for traction, just dirt and mud. Bathroom broken knobs and shower heads.

We love staying at Bailey’s! We stayed in the D loop for the first time Oct 12-16. It is a backwards site so you will have to enter through the exit. Be aware of the falling acorns and hickory nuts all over the site. Our vent cap got hit multiple times and created several holes; our canopy got some holes as well. It was an ok site overall but we wouldn’t book it again.

Baileys Point is our favorite place to be!!! We’ve been camping there for over 30 years. All 3 of our grown kids grew up camping here and continue to join us when they can. Love all the waterfront sites, kayaking and swimming. The new campground attendants Mark and Karen were great hosts all season this year and we hope to see them again next season!!!!
