⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Perfect Romantic Getaway at The Overlook RRG

When Sarah and I plan our weekend getaways, we always look for something a little different — something that lets us slow down and just be together. The Overlook RRG was exactly that.

The domes are truly one of a kind. Waking up to the peaceful mountain views, sitting together and taking in the quiet, and ending the night under the stars made it feel incredibly special. It’s not just a place to stay — it’s an experience.

We were blessed with beautiful weather Friday and Saturday, which made exploring Red River Gorge even more memorable. Hiking, driving the scenic roads, laughing, and just enjoying uninterrupted time together reminded us how important these little getaways are.

If you’re looking for a romantic escape that feels peaceful, unique, and unforgettable, we highly recommend The Overlook RRG. It gave us exactly what we were hoping for — time to reconnect and make memories we won’t forget.

All around 5 stars. Described and pictured perfectly. Beautiful location and views, the most peaceful & quiet place I have stayed. Clean and has everything you need for a great stay. We stayed for Christmas and they were sweet enough to decorate the dome and put up a few trees which made everything extra special. Definitely recommend

The Overlook RRG is an incredible find in the Red River Gorge area.
You’ll be greeted with some of the best views in the region and truly appreciate its peaceful, remote setting. Nestled alongside six unique, beautifully furnished geo domes and a cozy cabin, it’s the perfect place for a solo getaway or a couples’ retreat. Located in Stanton, KY, it’s just a short commute from the hiking trails of the Daniel Boone National Forest. Highly recommend checking it out! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Overlook has unbeatable views! Staying amongst neighboring domes against a cliffside gives this a lovely micro resort experience while also promoting privacy. Staying in a geodome like this is perfect if you're looking for a unique stay for a "glamping" getaway. The property's also fairly accessible in the Stanton area. Check it out!

Amazing place to stay for a quiet getaway in the Red River Gorge! The dome is modern, well-appointed, and has incredible views. Also provides easy access to all of the great hiking nearby. Highly recommend.
