What Guests Are Saying
The Louisiana Renaissance Festival is a highly anticipated annual event, offering delicious food options like turkey legs and amazing sausage, along with impressive entertainment and a friendly atmosphere. While attendees noted long lines for food and the rough terrain as challenges, improvements such as more benches and upgraded facilities were appreciated. Overall, it's a fantastic experience, especially for families, with plenty to see and do across multiple visits.

What a fabulous time I had at my first Renaissance Festival! Food was great. People were friendly. Entertainment was impressive. Easy in and out of the grounds. My only gripe is a small one. Camel ride could hardly be called a ride, but more of a photo op. We got some great photos. Family friendly

The biggest and best faire I've ever experienced! We've been coming for years. While I wax nostalgic for a few things now missing, the improvements and growth are evident in every aspect.
Vendors, shows, pathways, hygeine facilities and participants make it a trip worth making. Today, they sold out for the first time ever! Make sure to buy your tickets online and print them to speed your way through the entrance.
While many vendors do accept cards or digital pay and there are ATMs on grounds, I strongly reccomend bringing cash. With the record crowds, we had a great deal of trouble finding a source of water that would accept cards. Normally, there is a water fountain, but it was turned off today. You can also bring a water bottle along on your adventure.

A lot of upgrades! More benches have been made I see. All lines for food & drinks are extremely long. Be prepared for a lot of walking, on gravel & dirt with tree roots be careful. Some vendors are cash only. They need more benches along the trails for break taking, more drink booths, maybe one just for water, maybe even some water misters so you cool off if needed!

Had a fantastic time. Lots of people, so many different costumes to see. So much to see and do, I recommend you plan accordingly or visit on more than one day. Most walkways are rough gravel lined, not stroller friendly, will be bringing a wagon with large wheels for the kids next year.
