From the moment we got there to the moment we left, it was nonstop fun! We celebrated my daughter's birthday and the staff was so accommodating with the weather not being optimal. I love that it included so many activities that the kids stayed busy the whole time! It wasn't overcrowded at all. The entire staff was wonderful! We really loved Malaya!! She went above and beyond for my girl and made her feel super special. This campground exceeded my expectations! We can't wait to come back again.

I wouldn’t recommend this camp ground to a homeless person needing a place to stay. Why? Cause the water and electricity never work anyway. They are better off homeless roaming the streets. This “all exclusive RV park” has less structure than the button of my pants on Thanksgiving dinner. The management has never even managed nothing but a continued excuse book of repeated excuses on why they don’t have a proper reasoning for nothing being acceptable. Where do I start - Never electricity. They don’t inform you not matter if you have dogs or a new born child in the middle of the heat the power goes out.
Doesn’t communicate. The spots situation are worse than the Louisiana roads.
Treats weekend people better than monthly income rv people
Never maintain the property mowing. Rude management and young at that.
Limited people allowed to stay per camper - or they charge per person.
Increased monthly rent per your reasoning for staying. If you travel for work your rent immediately is $150 more than the average joe. #scammers
The water lines get hit at least once a week and the management doesn’t inform you. So if you have a new born. Guess what not bottle time cause the water lines are basically sticking out of the ground and get knocked out.
The entrance gates are always backed up because no one manages the front.
There are over 100 monthly spots at $700 rent that’s $70,000 or more a month you can afford to create a managed email system that notifys your guests who pay your wages. The maintenance department hasn’t maintained a thing since we’ve been staying at this camp ground except parking a truck in front of the building.
So if you would like a list of problems added to your vacation or place to stay for work. Absolutely pay these people your hard earned money for a reimbursement of terrible housing.

After being told we could check in early at 1, (2 o’clock is check in,) we arrived at 1:40. A nice young lady checked us in. The manager made an announcement to the staff that today stays summer early check in cost of $20. I asked the young lady if I’m being charge $20 for 20 minutes, she said yes. I then told her never mind we will go sit in the truck for 20 minutes. I exited the office and went back in to address the manager about what I was told over the phone. He said yes you talked to me, no sir I talked to the young lady that checked me in. The young lady told him yes she did tell me that. About that time some campers entered the office. He suddenly turned to me and said “go” just go. ( I thought he was throwing me put off the park. I was in no way rude to anyone, I was in shock. He The grabbed the paperwork and armbands and just kept saying “Go, go, just go”
With welcome like this We decided (along with some of our camping group) never to return. I kind of thought maybe he had a bad day and he would come apologize but nope.
If your family decides to go better bring some $$$ they charge for everything. Pricey place. We were not impressed at all with the park, lots of workers staying there for long distances, after riding our golf cart around it look like a trailer park in the back. First and last trip for us.

My Aunt lives here year around and we came to visit. I was soooo impressed with the site. Staff were incredible and friendly. Great spirit. Then bathroom and grounds were spotless! The splash pad, pools, and obstacle course were so much fun. Live music was sooo great. There is something for every single age group. This is my 2nd Jellystone park to visit and Lake Charles location is unmatched. Well done. Once I made it back home, I went to book another stay.

I really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and if you have children, come summer time, there's lots of things for them to enjoy. Pool, splash pad, mini golf, fishing, park, mining, and other exciting things. May plan to go back for Memorial day, not sure yet 😀 I loved riding the golf cart around the site seeing others enjoying their stay and how big the park was.
