Love's RV Stop-Mansfield LA 858

Kind, courteous, employees! Great gas prices! Clean restrooms! A machine that freshly grinds and brews your delicious coffee...I add Love's stops into my planned route. Why go anywhere else? And, I almost forgot the fenced dog yards (large and small dogs separate) with pick up bags and benches..grab a cup of coffee and let your pup stretch their legs and do their business safely, without a leash. I LOVE Love's.

We have tried staying here 3 times. Every time we have issues with the electricity. Sites 14, 15, 16 all have either had voltage too high or too low. This would be a perfect stop for us on our way home from visiting our daughter but we are looking for an alternative. Last night we had to run off our batteries and the time before we moved twice.

We liked it so much we booked another! The only drawback was low voltage at our site which tripped a breaker through the night. We were in 50A. Otherwise, perfect!

Podium #19 doesn't work. It didn't work in March 2025 and it doesn't work in September 2025. I don't think #20 works either because they said it was turned on but it didn't work at the site. #21 worked. The people on #17 seem to have power. This location definitely has some sites it needs to block availability of until they get them working. Otherwise, it meets expectations for a Loves RV travel stop. It's gated and separate from the busy, noisy parking lot and has all the amenities you'd need for an overnight. If the podiums worked consistently so that we didn't have to move around for power, this would be an above average location due to the separation from the busiest areas, because sometimes these RV stops are an obvious afterthought next to busy pumps and other 24/7 business. If you visit this location, check your podium before you back in.

The manager was accommodating when I asked to change spots bc my electric kept tripping. However, the trash cans were overflowing and there is a corner with water and an abandoned hose at the exit end. There are a LOT of fire anyts, they should spray.
The spots are nice and the place has potential!
