Had a great time. Very nice park. We’ll kept. Most lots are large and secluded. There are plenty of hiking trails at the park and around the area. The camp host were very helpful. Wendy even brought over some firewood once she saw us scrounging around for wood. There is a lot of deadwood for firewood there. The bathhouses were well kept but could use some upgrades. The one downside was that the dump station was very far away near the park entrance instead of near the campground.

The site was lovely and exceptionally large. If there had been cell service I would have given this an excellent. Family not being able to contact me in case of emergency was unacceptable. What I can’t understand is that it’s not that far to town to receive cell but we did receive air TV. Loved the campground. Maybe have playground for kids and fix the narrow roads in and around the sites would be great.

We enjoyed our trip to beaver dam. Cell phone service was poor but we managed. I do wish that both lakes were open year round even if the beach was closed during off season. I believe there would be more fishermen and maybe even picnickers. Overall it was enjoyable but the restrooms / showers could use an update. Kids could enjoy some bank fishing if there were areas cleared for that but they sure enjoyed riding there bikes there! Overall it was very relaxing we will return.
