As soon as we get there we find out that a prior guest ran over our water pipes and broke them. They had done this 2 weeks before we arrived. NOT one person could notify us that this was going to be a problem I was informed the park knew about it but said they couldn't afford to fix it!! Really?? So we had to go out a find a very very long hose to run to another camp site.

Out away from town, make sure you fill your food and Ice and other camping supplies including bait if your going to fish. Very muck a quiet out in the woods camp. Showers and toilets are very dated but usable

Small campground off the beaten path. Great campsites. One longterm host who was present, nice and working. No way he can keep up with all this beautiful campground needs. Bathrooms and showers in poor shape, desperately needing a makeover. We just used our own. Will stay again whenever we`re in this area.

This was an overnite stop for the wife and I as we travelled to Mississippi to visit friends. We are not "commercial" campground people and were pleased to find this campground listed in the Shreveport area. It is a little hard to locate as there are not many signs to guide you in the right direction, but the trip is worth the work. The site we had was newly refurbished with new fire ring, grill and table. It was a huge site to say the least. In the forest and no noise. There were only a couple of sites occupied while we were there and one of those was the camp host. Nice place and we will return if we are once again in Northern Louisiana.
