I have been going to this park since I was a young child. It’s like home to me. This visit I did notice that there is some needed attention to the roadways (breaking edges, extra potholes, etc). The vegetation and grass needs to be mowed more often than not. I stayed a solid week and never did I see the camp host pass by. Maybe he was coming by before I was up or out and about. I was in a very sunny hot spot which I’m ok with but I had wanted to change to a shadier spot. I tried calling the reservations line to change but ironically there were no answers. So, I’ll have to plan ahead farther in advance to grab a shadier spot. All in all though I will go back and hope to grind it in a bit more tidy grounds and road (loop of park)! Let’s go camping

This was an overnight stop. We were in our 28 ft travel trailer. It was fine. However, we recently purchased a 34 ft Class A. Our perspective is this campground would be a little tight (narrow roads, tight-ish turns, and low small branches). In our records we’ve classified it as “do-able” so we would use it even with the bigger rig.
The part that annoyed us was the reservation fee that we had to pay when we used Rec.gov. Then that it turned out that electricity was separated from the site price and not subjected to the 50% senior discount.

Nice little park. We only stayed one night so there was no opportunity to walk the trails (plus it was too hot and humid) or use the lake facilities. I will say the dump station needs a little attention. It's road is in terrible condition. After a trip involving 15 different stops, this was the quietest by far. No traffic noise, no horns going off and no barking dogs.

Great campground. Super quiet and beautiful setting. Park seemed like it could use a little attention but everything worked and i enjoyed my stay.

Sites were spacious and secluded. Mens toilet didn’t work.

A very quiet campground if it is not summer. Had no problems except the restroom could use a little work but, heck, it is a campground.
