The peace and serenity this place offers is unique.

Nature surrounded, a beautiful pond, you hear nothing but birds singing and the little mascot squirrel is so cute!

The trails are amazing and the cabin and rvs are extremely well equipped.

They think in every single detail and make the place feel like home.

They are very thoughtful in everything they do and we feel very welcome there.

I’m already booking my next trip to this amazing hidden gem.

The place with great with a single exception. Clean, well maintained,, roomy, and friendly staff. Quiet and having a small C-store was great as well. The only issue was the shower. While very clean and spacious, the hot watered lasted less than 2 minutes. I had to rinse my hair and body with cold water. Hopefully it was just a fluke, but it was the only negative thing of our stay.

Clean, quiet, peaceful little hideaway. Wife and I stayed here for a “stay-cation”, long weekend. Kristi was very communicative, Steve came by and built us a fire in the fire pit, and there was a little snack basket that hit the spot! Very convenient location for running into town. We also loved the little trails they’ve cut through the woods, good way to get your steps in. We’re local here, but would definitely plan another stay in the future!

My son flew into Shreveport and the two of us stayed in an RV in Huckleberry Hollow, with our two dogs. The RV was very well appointed and had any and everything one could imagine for a comfortable vacation stay away from home. Dog friendly, we were able to manage our dogs pretty well. Whoever designed the RV made the absolute best utilization of space that I’ve ever experienced, even including a cooktop and oven, a full sized refrigerator/freezer, and a washer/dryer combo. The kitchen was more than fully equipped and included snacks and drinks. Although we were super busy with family, the grounds had something enjoyable for everyone: a playground, a dog park, a pond for fishing, burn pits, recreation and study rooms in the lodge with pool table. Huckleberry Hollow is a vacation within itself.

Incredible. That’s the best way to sum up this campground. The owners stay in contact with you to learn when your expected arrival will be. They then meet you at the entrance and take you to your campsite. The amenities are unmatched. They have everything! Dog park, clean showers/restrooms, laundry room, game room, playground, pond etc. On top of being greeted personally by the owners, they had a fire ready for us at our site, gave not only us a large goodie bag but also had a goodie bag for our pup! The amount of thought that they put into the guest experience is incredible. If you can find a reason to travel this way and stop in at this location, it will probably be a highlight of your trip. We cannot thank them enough for their kindness and hospitality. Thank you Steve and Kristi!
