Located away from the downtown area, right on the edge of Lake Pontchartrain, it is within easy driving distance of the main part of the city. The sites are well situated and easy to get in or out of, with a good number of both back-in and pull-throughs. The staff is personable and quite helpful - they even guide you to your site.

There is an on-site restaurant that sits above the office, laundry, and showers and has a great view of the docks and both standard park model and unique rental units cleverly repurposed from cargo containers.

Drinks and food in the bar / restaurant are reasonably priced and make for a convenient place to go in the evenings if you want a low-key evening without having to do your own dishes!

Our goal was to get the taciturn bartender to smile and maybe to laugh; it was hard work, but we got β€˜er done! Watch out for the Hurricanes and the Bahama Mamas!

And pay attention to when the wings come in off the smoker - most excellent plain or with a choice of several dipping sauces.

Our group also made use of the conference room area - it also has a couple of pool tables, a foosball table, basketball game, and a big screen TV.

Overall, a great place to stay when visiting NOLA.

We stayed in seabrook villas. They 1st put us in 403. Definitely disappointed as the bathroom floor was wet and floor tiles separated and the drawers in the vanity were falling in! Then I opened the closet to a huge water heater so no room to hang anything!
Also no microwave as stated when we booked it!
We decided to say something so the kindly moved us to 703. That was better as the bathroom had ceramic tile floor in the bathroom and the drawers worked. But the thermostat as hanging loose so when we tried adjusting the temperature the screen went blank. Hard to tell what the temperature was set at so we woke up to 54 degrees one of the mornings. My fiance went to heat a sandwich in the microwave and there was no glass table in it! He also was getting in the shower and the glass door fell on him! Definitely disappointed in our stay here!
The only positive I would say is the bar/restaurant was nice! Decent food and drinks! Steph was great!!

Very convenient location only 5 miles from the French Quarter and yet quite quiet. Reasonable price. Nice sites (note: My particular site needed a bit of trimming as the vegetation abutted my slide outs on each side). There is a small, unheated pool with a unique waterfall feature. I would gladly return anytime I visit the Crescent City.

Quite, peaceful spot. No trouble backing our 32ft TT in. Spot was close to level. Only needed 1 layer of levelers. Picnic table on site. Plenty of small trees for some privacy and a nice look. Clean restrooms and showers by the dog park. Didn't use the others. Kind and friendly staff. Well-kept grounds. The pool looked nice, although we didn't use it for the weather was too cold. The dog area is spacious for a few at a time, though not many used it when we were there. All RV hookups worked as expected, although they are more to the front of the spot, so I had to run to the nearby Walmart for an additional 10ft sewer line. Booked weeks in advance, and no trouble upon checking in whatsoever! Enjoyed our Thanksgiving week in New Orleans while having a peaceful place to come "home" to each evening. FQ is only a few miles and short drive away. Less than 15 min. Garden District just a couple minutes beyond that. Lake Pontchartrain literally is a 2 or 3 min drive, with a beautiful view from the shore. Mississippi is just an hour away if you like hiking, Bucaneer State Park was a nice go-to and day trip from here! This RV Resort is situated in an industrial area, adjacent to a quiet neighborhood in the northwestern portion of the 9th ward - Gentily. The road coming from i10 is sketchy-looking, but it gets you there. Watch the stop signs. There are raiilroad tracks to cross, so know the alternative routes if necessary when coming and going. The resort has on-site security that does actively patrol. This resort felt safe and peaceful. Overall, I highly recommend this place! Next time in New Orleans, we definitely will be returning to this resort.

I brought my travel trailer here for it's first "shakedown" run and to spend the weekend in New Orleans with the family.

My parents ended up renting a little house boat, which was great. Kinda lacking on the dishes/silverware for a larger party, but it definitely was a cool place to stay.

The RV site was nice and right on the water. Everything was maintained and worked well. The resort seemed pretty full considering the season.

Staff was great. We arrived a little late and we were able to get checked in. Very polite girl at the front desk there. The security guy also drove me out to the site.

It's located pretty close to everything so driving out or even grabbing an Uber to spend the day in New Orleans is really easy. I'll stay here again in the future with friends!
