Adventures RV Resort

I am here this weekend with a friend, and I feel there is some room for improvement regarding the park's cleanliness and overall upkeep, the Rec is what makes this place.
Ms. Sissy and her crew work hard to accommodate guests. She never seems to stop—from breakfast until closing. She was here bright and early, and I even had the opportunity to visit with her again this evening.
The Sidekicks played tonight, and they were fantastic! They are funny, very talented, and willing to sing just about anything. We honestly weren't planning to attend because some of the bands we've seen here in the past weren't very good. We were relaxing in the lazy river and heard them playing and changed our minds.
We ended up having a great time in the rec with the band and are already planning to come back at the end of the month when they play again. Thank you to Ms. Sissy for making our weekend so enjoyable!

We recently stayed at Adventure RV Resort for two nights with a group of three adults and two teenagers. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to our expectations.

We booked one of the larger cabins specifically because we had five people. However, we were disappointed to find that the main living area did not have an actual bed or mattress. The listing should clearly state that the “extra sleeping space” is only a futon with little to no padding—it is not comfortable enough to be considered a bed. The four twin beds in the loft were acceptable, but the loft became extremely hot. While there were two industrial fans, they were incredibly loud and didn’t make the space comfortable for sleeping.

The resort itself was also a letdown. The pools were decent, but the lazy river was noticeably dirty, and one of the two water slides was closed during our entire stay.

The biggest disappointment was the mini golf course. We understand there has been a lot of rain recently, but it looked like the artificial turf hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. It was covered in mold and debris, making it essentially unplayable.

Overall, we were disappointed with both the accommodations and the condition of several amenities. Based on our experience, we would not recommend Adventure RV Resort to others, and we would not choose to stay here again. With better maintenance and more accurate cabin descriptions, this resort has the potential to be much better.

Prior to being here the young man on the phone was rude! The next day the lady was super nice while being here there was a fist fight with some people on Fourth of July weekend! Also they shut the slide down because multiple kids was being crazy even thought there was no one on the top of the slide or at the bottom to supervise even land o pines hires high school students or older to watch the slides we kept our kids in line we had to suffer do not recommend this place to anyone! The amount of money we spent to be here is not worth it! I am and will spend my money elsewhere!

We will absolutely not be back. The water in the lazy river was cloudy and clearly full of algae. Worse, there is zero supervision. We went for Super Soaker weekend, which is supposed to be all about the kids, but instead, they had so many drunk adults acting like fools…parents were taking infants down the steep yellow slide! When I asked a worker if they had considered hiring a lifeguard, she literally told me, "No one wants to sit up there." Another staff member chimed in to say their insurance company told them they don't need lifeguards because they have signs posted. Also, that they won’t listen anyway!
That complete lack of supervision resulted in my son needing 4 stitches. An older child was acting as a self-appointed lifeguard and told another kid to go down the slide before my son could exit. My son was rushed, slipped trying to get out of the way quickly, and split his chin open. We tried to make the best of it, but because he had stitches, he couldn't get them wet. He had to stay inside most of the time. We wrapped it in waterproof bandaids, but he was just too nervous after being outside for a while. I doubt anything was even done about the kid who caused it, as we suspect he was related to an employee!!

We have never camped here before and decided to try something different. I’ll be honest with you, the closer our reservation got, I started seeing many negative reviews. But my husband and I decided to still give it a shot. I’m so glad that we did not cancel our reservation because of some negative reviews. We had a great time! Our kids seriously had the best time! Sure, there was some cleanup needed. Ok, there may have been some spots in the lazy river. But none of it interfered with our stay. For the price you pay, You get a ton of amenities! Our kids are already asking when we can go back. So if you read this review. Go to Adventures RV. I wish I could say I had pictures to upload. But I don’t because I was too busy having the time of my life with my family. Keep doing a great job!
