We had a really enjoyable stay at this campground. The shaded sites made a huge difference, especially on warmer days, and created a relaxing, comfortable atmosphere throughout our visit.
One of the highlights was the well-stocked pond—it was fun seeing turtles and hearing bullfrogs, which added a nice touch of nature and made the experience feel more peaceful and unique.
The amenities were great as well. The pool was clean and refreshing, and the laundry facilities were convenient and well-maintained. It’s clear that the campground is cared for.
The people here were very welcoming and friendly, which made us feel right at home from the start. It’s also very dog-friendly, which is a big plus for anyone traveling with pets.
Overall, a great place to stay—we’d definitely come back!

Great park management is very friendly. Would recommend staying here. But if you stay in space #39 be ready to to listen to the full time resident in space #38 music on nice days. They like it loud and have no consideration.

Great place to stay. Bill is awesome. He has treated us like family. Everyone here is very quiet and friendly. Lots of attractions for us to visit nearby. Planning on coming back in the future.

As owner, along with my husband, Larry, I would like to take this opportunity to say that we read all reviews and use any negative comments to better our park. Bill, our recently hired Manager, is here to help us in upgrading and continuously working with us to make all aspects of our park pleasant and comfortable for our guests. We are located in beautiful, historic West Feliciana Parish, close to many plantations that make South Louisiana a very unique area. Improvements are constantly being made here at Peaceful Pines to ensure that progress continues in order to make our park unique as well. We welcome your comments and hope that anyone who has had a less than pleasant experience here will stay with us again and give us the opportunity to show you that we ARE striving to make our guests comfortable and happy.
