They are fixing up the campground. Spots are small. Laundry is great. Make sure to check your spam folder for directions to access the laundry room.

We spent five days here with a SMART RV group. Very nice and fairly economical RV park. The manager was very accessible and helpful. We would stay here again

This park is great! The location is perfect for feeling like camp but being near the fun of New Orleans. The owners are friendly and helpful. While I was there they were resurfacing the putt putt course. Looks like a lot of fun!

Okay place. Great location away from but not too far from New Orleans downtown.
It is not the 4.8 that reviews show online, in my opinion. Price is acceptable for what we actually were able to use.
Big park to walk around on driveways. Grassy areas are plentiful, wetlands so not solid ground but walkable. Watch your step, not everyone picks up after their pet.
A channel of water in the very back had fish jumping, kayak launch area with small dock, which all looked newer (pilings, cleats, & gravel). I'm not sure where the channel goes. We did not witness any gators in said channel. The water fluctuates with the tide.
The cornhole game looked new and was plastic so it is easy to wipe/dry off so bags slide. They are stored in a mailbox for cleanliness. :)
Extra large chess/checkers game on a nicely done checkered board tiles undercover was cool. :)
Putt putt golf is under construction. They have new concrete poured and new artificial grass ready to place. I'm not aware of eta for completion, we didn't ask or was it mentioned.

Pool is not heated and not unlocked at gate; we must call to have it unlocked. Sign says you need a wristband to enter pool area. The chairs inside the gate look okay; some wood type and some zero gravity lounge type. There are umbrellas, but I couldn't see the condition of them.
There is a 2 person adult swing and a child size swing set in the middle of a grassy area about 100ft away from the pool, a fire pit there too.
This is by the maintenance area/sheds, which are open to see and touch. I caution parents to watch curious little ones.

We walked around more of the property and have more concerns.
Saw someone's grey water hose going into the ditch on side of side street, is that legal?
A piece of metal deck railing covering a hole going to some type of drainage, the metal was jagged and not secured by anything. It seemed dangerous for anyone walking by or riding by on a bike, or a small child to fall through.
I did witness some workers starting to straighten up the maintenance area the day after new year's, I hope that this continues!
We also saw some chemicals, paint, pressure washer, other equipment just laying around the putt putt area. I felt uneasy about this and the young children that I saw living on-site.
I understand that they went through hell during the last hurricane, but public safety should be more of a priority in my opinion. Children and dogs are curious about all types of things and owners responsible to keep the grounds safe from these hazards.
We chose this site for a weeks stay for reasons of having a pool, putt putt golf, and location which we only got one of those (Location).
The location is ideal for big box store shopping, thrift shops, 35 minutes from downtown New Orleans, 25 minutes from Mississippi white sandy beaches (Henderson point) and fishing hot spots.
The laundry facility was very nice. Newer machines in a insulated shipping container with nice a/c , folding counter and secured by keypad code. (3 bucks a load wash/dry)
No change machine but they do have an app system to use for machines.

I saw a lot of potential for this rv park! I would love to see this veteran owned facility thrive in the near future.
I truly hope that when I return, I can stop by and see a thriving business that is concerned about the safety of its patrons both young and old.

Well, the bathhouse is about no bath, very, very uncomfortable close quarters no privacy not not even near what it should be for the the campground is promoting they charge they got put golf. They wanna charge you for that and they want to charge you for swimming in the swimming pool and I think that’s kind of petty cause nobody has swim in it since I’ve been there and other than that it’s a nice clean place but I think that they could let people swim in the pool for nothing and they would have you know a better people would enjoy it better because there’s no one to swim in the pool since I’ve been here no one wants to pay two dollars when we’re paying 200 a week 300 a week excuse me we paying 300 a week and they want us to pay for the swimming pool, but it’s a very clean place is easy access to the site only complaints. I have the lady that runs for places very helpful, nice and professional.
