We LOVED this campground! Perfect location with a pool and a playground for our six year old to enjoy. He made so many new friends during our stay here! Gorgeous view at at the pool - gorgeous view at our site (site 7!) the hosts were also extremely kind. We loved having the option to hop on the shuttle - MUST eat at the restaurant across the street! We would definitely stay here again

Check in and staff where very helpful. Pointed us in the right direction to view the very close arcadia national park. Free shuttle buses do leave from this campground. The large heated pool has hey spectacular view of the bay area. There are very nice camping spots and and quite a few big rig friendly RV spots. All are nice. There is enough clean bathrooms and showers to go around. We will be back again next year.

Sits off the main road on the water. Well maintained. Quiet. Sites are good size and not too close. W/E hookups. Dump Stattion, shower, and laundry available. There is a bbq and ice cream place with a trail to walk to from campground. The Island shuttle bus has a stop at the campground and will take you to Acadia as well as Bar Harbor. It is 13 mi to Walmart. The staff is outstanding and go out of their way to meet your needs!!

Our third time driving up to Maine with our RV but our first time staying at this campground. We were very happy with our stay here!

Things to know:
* The water view campsites are pretty far from the water and there is no access to the water from the property. They are not full hookups though. It seems that most of the full hookups are near the entrance and they are less wooded/spacious than the other sites.
* The pool, laundry, playground are all in the far area near the water view sites. Nice location but far from the entrance (about 1/2 mi walk) and the wifi (no signal in the area when we stayed)
*As we were departing we discovered a path from the campground to the back of Udder Heaven (amazing local ice cream) and Mainely Meat (BBQ). I wish we’d realized there was a path before then. Ha.
*You can see some beautiful sunsets from this campground.

Overall, a great experience and we will definitely be back. You’re about 5 mi to downtown Bar Harbor. The Lobster Pound across the street was terrific (on par with our favorite spot, Beal’s Lobster Pound).

Oh, and if there are any runners reading this, I was able to run on the main road (Bar Harbor Rd) without a problem. Nice wide shoulders, though hilly.

Fantastic location near Acadia National Park, we really enjoyed our stay. The vast property is well kept and the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. Thank you, Crystal!
If it’s available, grab site H-1 for the spectacular view and proximity to the pool.
