We stayed here last night for free, the owner is very friendly and kind. We came from Canada and we were late for our planned destination, so we found this camp site on the road side and came in hoping to find a spot. To our surprise, the owner provided us a convenient spot for free.
Thank you amazing owner, thank you America!

I recently stayed here for my second time now except this time it was a week for my anniversary/friends and it was very relaxing. The site we chose was nice for using tents. The weather was perfect especially for swimming (especially in the pool which is maintained very well) and kayaking. The only things I was a little bummed about was not having an arcade, and the store hours/items in the camp store (they have added more things I’ve noticed) and the activities (compared to Two lakes I feel like there more into it and involved especially with the kids activities) but Poland Spring definitely has potential!
I never went as a kid so I don’t know how Poland use to be BUT with some extra help I feel like this could be a camp ground I’ll definitely keep coming back too!

Our recent stay at this campground was incredibly disappointing. The sites are packed tightly together, offering little to no privacy. Upon arrival, we found broken glass scattered around our site, including what appeared to be a smashed lightbulb by the fire pit—completely unacceptable, especially with kids around. The grounds and facilities are poorly maintained, and the wood line and walking trails were littered with dog poop, making the environment even less pleasant.

We tried to make the most of our short stay, but it's clear that effort is lacking. A poor attempt to “check the boxes”. When we reported these issues to the front desk, they simply "wished we had said something sooner." However, these are things that should be taken care of before guests arrive, not issues that should interrupt or inconvenience our trip. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning and cannot recommend this campground to others.

My daughter and I love this place. We were going to acres of wildlife until we found out the sewer behind our campsite ran into the private lake where the beach is. Never go back there and the security officer there was a jerk and not helpful at all. Poland springs 8s a breathe of fresh air. Rustic, with a pool and a lake to go fishing or kayaking in. Playground for kids. People who complain about pine pitch, bumpy roads, and so on need to stay at a motel!!! It's camping people!! Love your campground!!! This will be our third stay here.

Really nice campground, well kept and very clean. The owner is awesome and staff is friendly and know how important it is that you enjoy your stay. Bathrooms are updated and they keep them clean. Sites are well maintained. Depending on where you are,and the size of your camper there is plenty of room and privacy. Most of the sites are under trees and all dirt. I purchased an extra outdoor rug as I stayed there many years ago. Pool is nice 4' max, great for kids. The water is higher than it used to be, not much of a beach area to lay out in the sun. (The only complaint my wife had) The swimming in lower rang pond is awesome. Nice and sandy, no muck or rocks. Fishing is great and the dog beach is a nice touch. If you have children, they will love it! So may activities for the kids, not just on the weekends. Would recommend this campground to family and friends.
