Coastal Woods Campground

Campground itself is in an amazing location. Sites are very small and close together, we had a very hard time getting our 36ft trailer into the site they put us in. Our neighbors who came the next day were about 10 feet from our front door. The bathrooms were absolutely filthy, shower curtains and floors of the stall were moldy. The toilets were either broken or dirty. The water there was also very brown and smelled like sulfur, which has been a concern for a while from seasonals we talked to and it hasn’t been resolved. There definitely needs some better upkeep at the playground and picnic area, there were weeds everywhere and it was not very appealing to look at. This campground definitely needs some upgrades and maintenance for the price we pay per night.

We have been coming back for 3yrs now cause its,Nice, quiet smaller campground, everyone really friendly, pet friendly and very affordable and close to everything

I hate to do this because I love it here. Awesome camp ground and nice people who work here. This is 5th or 6th time here and I'll keep coming back

The staff was nice and friendly !
The only "negative" point is that we found our tent spot a bit narrow. We had enough space to put all of our stuff, but there was not much room left for our car (SUV). I think that we parked on the site next to us, but we're not quite sure. We found the indications about our site not very clear. (We have a small 4 persons tent).
They give you a magnetic card when you check in, so you can go in and out of the campground even when the reception is close.

This place amazing! I loved the staff and how friendly they were! They helped us with our electric problems and gave us a new campsite to make our stay that much better! The craft beer was very good aswell! Definitely will be staying here again when we go back to Maine!
