Sea-Vu West RV Resort

Very happy with Sea-Vu West. Camped here several times now, always a good experience. Pool is smallish by some standards but warm and clean and nicely kept.
Dog park is far to the back and dirt (in the woods, probably can't grow grass there) but there are other areas to walk them.
Playground equipment is nice and in good shape. Pavement throughout park is smooth enough for rollerblading, and turns large enough to accommodate our 45 foot trailer. Sites are all grass (no pads that I saw) but level and didn't feel like we were on top of our neighbor.
Staff was friendly and very pleasant to interact with. Far enough from route 1 to not feel caught up in busy Wells area, but still close enough that its easy to get into town, beach, etc.
Mostly park models here, with one section at the front door transient and a few seasonal RVs.

A very nice park, mostly composed of seasonal owners and is very well maintained and has great facilities, including a heated pool. The RV sites were very nice, level, all grass, which is pretty rare. Ground was firm and the sites are reasonably spaced out. They are all back in sites, the road network is wide, so no issues getting parked. We had FHUs and everything worked fine. Lots to do in the area - Kennebunkport (Walkers Point/Bush Compound), St. Ann's by-the-Sea Episcopal Church, Rachel Carson National Wildlife Preserve. Portland Museum of Art, toured the Winslow Homer Studio. Lunch at Gilberts Chowder Studio. Lots of Pottery and other shops in the area of the Docks
Make sure which campground you reserved - there are three Sea-Vu campgrounds in Wells, ME (all of them used to be owned by the same family. We stayed the Sea-Vu West)

Thus is not a motel, it's an RV park. Nice big spots, very nice heated pool and hot tub. Most of the park is for seasonal destination trailers but still plenty of spots for casual renters. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay.

Pros: not too crowded, the pool and hot tub were nice, laundry facilities worked and were clean.

Cons: the way the RV sites are laid out leaves you to have direct visibility into the front yard of the camper behind you. Which is ok for socializing, but not a lot of privacy given you're camping in a big field.

Conveniently located close to I95 and all Wells, ME services and beach. Huge RV sites with full hookups. Good water pressure, steady power. Facilities are outstanding and very well maintained. Staff is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Will happily stay again.
