We loved the peace and quiet of a beautiful green space surrounded by busy city traffic. We loved the proximity to the Greenbelt Metro line, and to any necessary shopping.

Greenbelt Campground serves as an excellent base for exploring Washington, DC, offering a safe and peaceful environment. While bathroom facilities could use some updates and maintenance, the campground overall is well-maintained, with friendly staff and a beautiful natural setting. Many visitors appreciated the quiet atmosphere, convenient location near the Metro, and affordable rates, making it a recommendable spot for camping in the city.

I found camping at Greenbelt Park to be most enjoyable. At this time of year, the fall, the park is quiet and restful. It is well located, and the price was right!

The campsites are great especially for tent campers. Unfortunately, people responsible for cleaning the bathrooms only clean the toilets and not the showers. It's too bad because this is an excellent camping escape for Baltimore and Washington campers.
