Amazing to be in a NP campground so close to DC. Our Ranger was super friendly and knowledgeable — Thanks! One bathroom on Loop B was acceptable and one bathroom was not as well kept (mold in the sinks). The campgrounds are not ‘groomed’ - which I appreciate, but some campers expect all the dead trees trimmed and the leaves raked. There was some camper trash at the sites in Loop B.

Campsite had all we needed. Restrooms were clean. Map identified amenities in correct locations.
