The campground was a great escape from the busyness of the city. Easy to access two metro stations that took our group into Washington DC. The grounds were well kept. The staff was very friendly, helpful and resourcefull.
Definitly would recommend to anyone and will return.

The campground is in a great location, very safe and secluded. The Park Police station is at the entrance to the park so lots of police presence.
The METRO is approximately 2 mi from the Greenbelt station which will take you downtown to the Archives Station, a perfect location to access the National Mall and located directly behind the Nat. Archives
The bathrooms are old and definitely need an upgrade. Only one (1) shower per bathroom. The bathrooms were never cleaned the twelve days we were there. Ended up cleaning the shower ourselves.
