Beautiful green secluded campsite, but the combination of very old fire pits and damp firewood made keeping a fire going and cooking extremely difficult. We left early due to inability to grill.

Sites are spacious & the tent pad was elevated (#9) which helped with the moist ground. Bathrooms are pretty gross though… we spent most of the day at Cunningham Falls fishing, hiking & swimming. Fun weekend trip!

Great campground overall. It was nice to be able to hear the wind in the trees while much of the campground was protected from that wind. Being so close to the creek, the bugs were annoying at times, but that’s part of camping. It’s a beautiful site in a beautiful area, we can’t wait to get back.

We were motorcycling through the area, pouring rain. We pulled in hoping for a campsite, only to find "reservations only" sign. However, looking at the sign sent us to recreation.gov, and we were able to select a nice campsite, pay, and start camping right away. This worked out very well, and I appreciate the attention to the last-minute campers (sometimes unavoidable!).

Very quiet and relaxing on my stay. I think only 5 other campsites were used. If most or all of the campsites are used I doubt that would be the case though.
