Camping and cooking with fire only. What a trip. We both explored the town. Went to the farmers market for the meat, mushrooms, other dinner items there. Visited the wine shop at the end of ptown Street. That has a better selection of wine, caviar. Let's face it. You got camping. Then you got tending to yourself needs. (Spa day) just without the spa) . Wished we could stay longer. But gotta get back to the grind (work)

Very unpleasant camping experience. The campground has been cutting trees and operating heavy machinery continuously since 8:00 a.m., and it’s now noon with the work still ongoing. There was no advance notice or warning to campers about this major disruption.
Since we are staying in tents, the constant noise has made it impossible to enjoy the peaceful camping experience we expected. Had we been informed beforehand, we could have planned to spend the day at the beach or made other plans instead of being stuck listening to chainsaws and heavy equipment for hours.
The campground should have notified guests in advance so they could decide whether to reschedule or simply plan their day accordingly. A little communication would have gone a long way and would have helped set appropriate expectations for campers.

Great location. Staff is great. Quiet time and fire rules are enforced which made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Louis the evening staff member is very polite and helpful. Look forward to returning.

We LOVED our stay there. (we stayed in an RV which was super clean and new). The location is amazing and close to all you want to do on Cape Cod. The staff were nice and friendly.
I left my Mac charger in the rv and was trying to contact the campground (left a voice mail) but unfortunately no one got back to me. This doesn't have anything to do with the campground itself though - don't hesitate to book a stay with them.

We started our camping season early this year (June 3rd) one of the staff told us that we were the first ones to check in this season. The weather has been particularly hostile for camping season to begin till now. Lots of cold weather and frequent windstorms.
When we arrived the staff was busy cleaning up debris from all the storms over the winter. Sites were almost to normal conditions for early June.
We spent 4 nights this time and thouroughly enjoyed every minute of it. It was so soothing to once again relax in nature, sleep in the outdoors in tents and take in the sounds and sights around us. We minimized the use of our cell phones. Around 7am each morning, the noisy birds started their cacophony of sounds. We believe they were American crows and maybe Fisher crows organizing early for their plan of action for the day
Hear they are one of the most intelligent birds on earth.
Positives:
Campsites close to office and bath/showers
Parking on site and overflow parking not far (free)
Office/camp store near all sites and open 9-5 most days.
Dog park next to parking lot.
Fire pits on each site.
Most sites shaded. Sleep in if needed.
Dishwashing stations throughout.
Winding walking trails to beaches (Ocean side)
It's quiet after 10 or 11pm and enforced for a restful night's sleep.
Play area for kids and plenty of roads within premises for kids to ride bicycles
That's Adventure Bound Cape Cod.
