What Guests Are Saying
Peppermint Park Camping Resort offers spacious grassy fields, large permanent sites, a swimming pool, and a nice playground, making it a very quiet and traditional camping experience with minimal management interference. However, some drawbacks include the lack of water supply at tent sites, single-person bathroom access, and small sites for transient campers. Additionally, guests should bring exact change for wood purchases and the gate card fee.

First the pros-big grassy fields. Large permanent sites, swimming pool and nice playground. Very quiet. Management doesn't bother you. Nice traditional camping. Now the cons-nice grassy tent sites with NO water not even a shared water supply. You had to go to a bathroom. Bathroom was single person, if someone was showering you could not use bathroom. The biggest negative for us was how small the sites were for people not staying full time. Wood was reasonable at 10 a bundle but make sure you have exact change, they don't like making change. Same goes for the 10 fee for the gate card.

Two years ago we camped in September for a month. The campground was very clean. Everyone was so friendly. We liked it so much the next year we camped for two months. everyone was very pleasant and welcoming to us. All of our family visited frequently especially for birthdays and important events. The grand children love the playground Which was very large and different. Also complete with a large sandbox. They also had different activities on the weekends . we were very happy that we found this campground. Bill and Mary Walsh

We first stopped at Peppermint Park because it was conveniently
located about half way between our home in Maine and our daughter and family in NJ. Our next stay was to visit with friends & family who lived nearby. Both times we were impressed by the beautiful campsites, surrounding views and friendly campers & staff. After our third visit we decided we needed to camp at Peppermint Park for the summer, bought a camper, rented a beautiful site and have loved every minute since.

Peppermint Park is a well maintained campground with awesome family friendly activities each weekend!! They have a very nice pool and there is so many ponds and lakes close by as well as many hiking trails. This is our second year as seasonal campers but we've been visiting this campground for years! We love it here and you will too!!

We’ve been camping here on and off for 20+ years and the last few we have been seasonal. It’s the cleanest campground around with the friendliest campers and workers. There’s plenty to do for us now without the kids and there was plenty when they came with us when they were younger. We love the activities, the pool and mostly relaxing at our campsite with family and friends. It’s our favorite place to camp! Looking forward to this coming season!!
