The Tourist Park is city-owned, enterprise fund managed by the city’s parks and recreation department that has operated independently for most of its formation. Our park doubles as a modern campground and also a public park, hosting a swimming beach, two separate venue event space buildings(one enclosed, one open), and a separate playground located on the opposite side of the park. We offer 75 full hookup sites including three pull through's, 18 boat slips (call for reservations) and additionally we have 3 rustic cabins with one cabin being pet friendly, with a fee. Cabins are not ADA accessible, call for more details. All sites are back in only except for the three pull through sites.
Lake Charlevoix was voted by USA Today as the second most beautiful freshwater lake in America. We are so fortunate to be able to be nestled on the southern shore of the South Arm of Lake Charlevoix, where the Jordan River flows into the bay, capitalizing on both river and lake enthusiasts. The Park is also used as a special events location, home of the East Jordan Fall Festival, hosting day camps, triathlons, festivals, reunions, weddings, private parties, fishing tournaments, and a great outdoor adventure seeker meeting location.Join us for a day on the water with our onsite marina and boat launch. We have plenty of sports fields, courts, playgrounds and green spaces on site. Our full hook up sites are offered seasonally from May-October, cabins and electric only sites are available for rent by phone only during the winter months, with a 3 night maximum. We also have available Wi-Fi throughout the campground. Daily, monthly, and seasonal rates are all available at East Jordan Tourist Park, so you can stay with us as long as you like.Facebook Page

Great place to camp! Ample shade on most lots, fairly level. It is perfectly located close Boyne City and Charlevoix to give you some places to visit. The campground is well maintained, has full hook up, and are spacious. We've been making trips to this campground for years and have never had a bad experience. There is a really nice playground for kids, and a fantastic beach on lake Charlevoix. Accessible boat launches and slips right at the campground. Reasonably priced and also close enough to Mackinac City and the Mackinaw Bridge that you can easily plans a day trip to the UP. Can't wait to go back and camp again.

We had our 47th class reunion in the gazebo. I highly recommend it for gatherings. It's right by the lake. You need to sign up for it's use, but there's no charge.

Good place for swimming with kids. Roped off swimming area with sandy beach (no rocks). Not too deep. Warmer water than lake Michigan. A little busy in the summer with all the campers, but very sweet and beautiful.

Our experience camping here has been a joy. The camp ground is beautifully maintained with plenty of amenities for a family fun, dog friendly environment.
They have a beautiful beach, tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball field, and playground.
It is very family friendly and everyone around during our stay was kind, respectful, and enjoying family fun.
I strongly recommend camping here if you have little ones, or simply like camping, being up north, exploring surrounding areas and enjoying time at the campsite.
There are plenty of surrounding areas to explore, we enjoyed coffee at The Iron Goat coffee shop, and breakfast at The South Arm Cafe in East Jordan.
If you prefer to make your own meals the campsites have full RV hookups, and great bonfire pits if you like to cook over the camp fire.
The bathrooms were clean and accessible.
The sunset is beautiful from the beach, on a clear night the stars are amazing, overall we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. If we have the opportunity we will most definitely visit this campground again!
