Hands down, the nicest campground I've ever stayed at!
Very clean and modern facilities. Each site has some wooded area and, even though a fully packed campground, you're not right on top of your neighbors. The trails are well marked and it's easy to get out and explore.

I wasn't sure what to expect from a walk-in site, but C-2 is about 200 steps from the parking/bathhouse. The sites are huge and well spread out so you won't notice other campers, but it's still close to the services you need.

Beautifully maintained campground with well spaced sites. Canoe & kayak rental right outside park. Close to the Pierce Stocking Scenic drive. Great location; fantastic campground.

Highly recommend the Platte River Campground! This modern campground had very clean washroom and shower facilities. It was quiet and sites had good level of privacy. Love that it’s an easy mile trail walk to the lake from the end of each loop. Staff were very helpful and friendly to top it off!

Large, quiet, secluded back-in spot, adjacent to another large area with the picnic table and fire ring added to the secluded feel for our Class B motorcoach. The full hookups, especially the electric, really was a godsend for us to endure the heat and humidity. The dump station was bigger than most with dual lanes.
