Wooded Acres Family Campground

The Owners were extremely nice and helpful. The sites were nice and grassy. Pool was Refreshing and Very Clean. Walking through the park, everything is Clean and very grassy. The Wood we purchased was VERY Good. Knowing how campgrounds want to prevent extra visitors on the wood, we were more than happy to purchase it. The price was Good. And a variety of prices for your stay preference. Will definitely want to come back. And we had a exciting nature experience happened while we were there as well. A swarm of honey Bees were gathering on our site. The Owners took care of the situation before anyone could be stung or injured and had the little visitors removed and relocated to a safe place. No Bees were treated unfairly. Thanks So Much For Our Great Stay..

This campground was chosen for our annual family reunion camping trip, we had 5 sites between us. Owners are amazing host, they brought your firewood to your site and at a cheap price i might add, bathrooms were always clean and a large laundry room if u need. Very close to the lake and plenty of places to eat and a few mini golfs nearby, the pool was very clean, kids loved fishing the pond. The 6 person cabin is amazing, the wife was awesome for letting us see it before she cleaned it for the next guest! Perfect place for a date weekend trip especially if u are on a budget, nightly rate is inexpensive and worth it if u want the quiet sit at the fire! Definitely plan to return because this place seams as a great place for families with autistic or sensory disorders. 100% recommended

Stayed 3 nights. Very quiet place. Owners were very friendly from the 1st interaction with them a few weeks prior.
The sites were spacious and pretty level.
We will be back. Even talking about leaving camper for a month on a site so we can bring our boat.
Downside: Bathrooms not handicap accessible. You have to step up to get in the shower stalls. They have handles to help if you have trouble. They do have a plan for upgrades to make handicap accessible.

Rented the modern cabin. Everything was great. Owners are friendly and welcoming. The bathrooms are spotless. It's an older campground and you can see the improvements the owners are making. The RV sites in the back look amazing.

Absolutely no way I would stay here unless you like to be misled and then lied to. if you want to see their FAQS you need to search their website. do not count on Jenny to tell you the terms. When you do find out two days before your stay she has no problem lying to you and then being so condescending like you are the crazy one. Jekel and Hyde when they get your money. She ruined my mini vacation no way would I do business with these people. OH By the way if you want to camp and have a CAMPFIRE you have to buy the wood from them. LOL I called 7 campgrounds in the area not one has that rule. again didn't know till the last minute. Scott
