Rustic Rafters Cabins and Camping

Had a wonderful stay at a cabin here. One of the best cabins we stayed at. Very well thought out and had almost everything we needed. Best showers i have had at a camp ground too! Owners were extremely present and available to help. They were always working around and talking with the guests and seems like there were a lot of repeat guests. If you like to be in the middle of no where this is perfect. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Wonderful secluded camping spot!! The owners are very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are clean and up to date. Showers are nice walk-ins with hot water. They have a cute playground, also have ice available 24/7. Water and electricity at each site, with a dump station on site. Miles and miles of ORV trails, with access right from the campground. There is a store about 1.5mi away that has anything you might need, beer, griceries, liquor, lotto, and even a restaurant! Thank you for the great hospitality. We'll be back soon!

Rustic Rafters Cabins and Camping is simply wonderful. I've stayed there many times, both in their bunkhouse and their cabins. Every visit is fantastic!
The owners are so welcoming, and the whole place is always super clean and well-kept. It feels like a second home in the woods.
This place is perfect for enjoying nature. I love sitting by the fire pit, burning wood and just relaxing. You can come with family or alone – it's great either way. I've seen elks, bunnies, foxes, and other animals, which is always exciting! And at night, the stars are amazing in the sky.
There's so much to do! You can go fishing, or just explore the forest. The hiking trails nearby are excellent, like Mason Tract Trail and Hartwick Pines Park, which has such fresh air. Higgins Lake, Marl Lake Trail, Glory Lake, and Bright Lakes are also great for fishing. Plus, there are endless unpaved roads for adventures!
It is the perfect getaway. It's easy to enjoy the simple beauty of nature here.

Great place to stay. Owners very nice and helpful. Close proximity to single track, 50” and orv routes for all your riding needs. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to vacation in the area. Bathroom facility is very nice as well, clean showers.

Perfect Retreat in Northern Michigan

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rustic Rafters in northern Michigan, and I cannot recommend it enough. This campsite offers a variety of cabins that are exceptionally clean and well-maintained. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the owners take great pride in ensuring their guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The cabins were cozy and equipped with all the necessary amenities, making our stay both convenient and relaxing. Each cabin was spotless, with fresh linens, clean bathrooms, and well-stocked kitchens. The attention to detail in maintaining the cleanliness of the cabins was truly impressive.

The campground itself is nestled in a beautiful wooded area, providing a serene and peaceful environment. There are plenty of activities to enjoy, including hiking trails, fishing spots, and a lovely lake for swimming. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or needs we had.

Overall, Rustic Rafters is a gem in northern Michigan. Whether you're looking for a quiet getaway or an adventure-filled vacation, this campsite with its pristine cabins is the perfect choice. We will definitely be returning!
