What Guests Are Saying

Tourist Park Campground offers a pleasant camping experience with friendly staff and easy access to trails and local amenities. The campground is well-maintained, featuring clean facilities and a nice beach area, although nighttime noise from nearby trains may disrupt sleep for tent campers. While some sites lack water and green space, overall, guests appreciate the natural surroundings and the campground's convenience.

Spent 3 nights here exploring the area. What a nice park with easy access to trails and green space for our dogs. Great rate for being right in town. The site we were in hardly had any grass, mostly sand, great shade trees. It would have been nice to have had a little bit of green space at the site due to having dogs, thankfully we didn't have any rain. Would definitely return.

Very clean well taken care of campground, had lake Beach access kayaking lots of trails. Was very quiet and friendly people.
Bathroom was well cleaned bonus as it has family shower that was always available for us.
The staff was very nice and friendly
Note: at the beach watch for bird poop nothing they can do about that.

The staff at the check-in desk was very friendly and helpful. There is Wi-Fi available near the office, but not throughout the entire campground.

The bug situation was not too bad during my stay. However, nighttime noise can be an issue due to trains and cargo activity at the nearby port, which made it difficult to sleep in a tent (it may be more manageable for RV campers).

There are two bathroom facilities, but they can be a bit far depending on your campsite location. Having more showers and toilets would definitely improve convenience.

We felt very comfortable here. While the park did provide electricity, our site (#35) did not have water and sewer. We filled our water when we arrived and were able to dump as we left. The two nights were very pleasant. Marquette has a wonderful bike trail system and were able to easily ride around (even to go 7 miles to grocery and hardware stores). We also rode downtown to Bodega restaurant for a good lunch.

Hi! We stayed in a tent for 2 nights. The site is nice because of many big trees. Sleeping in a tent our sleep was multiple times interrupted by the freight railway line. The horn of the train and noise of the heavy loaded carriages were very loud. We missed warm water and a drink to do dishes. Staff was very friendly
