We stayed in the cabin for the weekend. I use to camp here when I was a child. Things to know before going:
- pet friendly, however no dogs on the beach (understandable and a reasonable request).
- bring your own bedding for the cabin
- cabin has AC, a fan, a mini fridge, a microwave, a queen sized bed, a bunk bed, a table inside to eat, shelves, side table with lamp, and a small dresser with a mirror. Outside has two chairs, a picnic table, and a fire pit.
- bathroom is a little bit of a walk but not terrible.
- neighbors are very friendly and helpful.

They also have a list of activities that they do. They have bingo in the morning and they did a kids fair that was free when we went.

The pond is separated into three sections, one side looks like it’s for fishing, one side for swimming, and the other is for the inflatables. The middle swimming section is very safe and kid friendly. My 5 year old can walk across the pond and touch the whole way.
The beach is clean.
The bathrooms by the cabin include stalls and then showers with curtains, but there is a solo bathroom with a shower and a door that locks in the clubhouse by the pond.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Overall it was a good experience for myself my friend and our kids. We will be returning.

Screaming children, barking dogs, and LOUD UTVs ALL. DAY. LONG. until well past 11 pm. Broken glass everywhere, the showers had standing water and were infested with mosquitoes (the doors were propped open, presumably because of the standing water), the campsites (in the 200's section) were so cramped it was hard to tell where one ended and the next began. It frankly looked like a junkyard. There was no grass anywhere to walk dogs, just mud and gravel. Since the whole "park" is in the middle of nowhere (surrounded on all sides by dirt or corn, depending on the season), the only thing people seem to have for entertainment is to drive around and around in their extremely loud UTV's. The people who work here seem nice, and the water in the showers was hot. We didn't use the pool, but it looked well maintained. I would NOT recommend this if you are camping in an RV.

7/27/25 stay! I would love to thank the staff/owner for being so friendly, and helpful! Beautiful park, friendly campers, and a clean campground! We stayed in the cabin, and rented a golf cart. Little tip if you live in ac around 68 in the summer like me, the cabin does in fact have a window ac, but it’s not insulated. Just keep that in mind for the days in the 90s, wish we brought a portable one haha! But we are excited to come later this fall, maybe we will have a camper by then! Would highly recommend this campground!

We are leaving a night early.

Ok, I will start this by saying they were OK with me bringing my baby pot belly pig. This campground, is very clean, very nice. Their inflatable area is extremely organized and it seems safe. With that being said a lot can be said about hospitality. Kindness, welcoming attitude. Now, The personnel that work here are extremely rude and condescending. When we first arrived at our reservation time the hospitality was not friendly. It was a more mean office environment. We are given our campsite and the golf cart we reserved.
I paid for 4 bundles of wood and only received one. That was fixed. Next we drive on our Gulf cart on the sandy beach and get yelled at like children. There was no sign saying do not enter with a golf cart. No sign that said stop do not enter anything of that sort there was no way for us to know. They could have gone about it a different way and said they made us feel like we were 3-year-old toddlers being reprimanded for eating an extra cookie.
Later that day we went for a golf cart joy ride and got a little turned around and went on a service drive. It was set up in a dirt road behind campers that were in permanent spots. There was no machinery no dangers and there were no do not enter signs stop turn back signs. When we went to the office to get ice the office lady then proceeded to yell at my husband and reprimand him once again like he was a 3-year-old toddler stealing a candy bar from the store.

Needless to say we will not be becoming seasonal campers here. I'd rather travel My pop-up camper home and back to Sunny's campground every weekend then keep it at a seasonal site here.

Which makes it extremely unfortunate because like I said it's a beautiful place The people here just suck.

We camped for Memorial weekend. Staff were super helpful, very clean park and facilities. All campers who we interacted with were super welcoming. We enjoyed the floats on the pond, neighbor caught some awesome fish. Rented the golf cart and zipped around camp, enjoyed live band and then next night DJ. So much fun. Only issue we had was dust from roads bad enough was an issue with asthma, but we watered road then no issues. Very nice park.
