What Guests Are Saying

Mecosta Pines Campground offers a variety of amenities, including a clean swimming pool, mini golf, and well-maintained bathrooms, contributing to a pleasant camping experience. Many guests appreciate the friendly service from seasonal campers and the owners, although interactions with the wife can be less favorable. Despite some concerns about guest charges and hornets, the overall atmosphere is welcoming, and many recommend it for its peaceful setting and family-friendly activities.

This has been the worst experience ever. There were ground hornets all over all 3 sites we rented. We bought spray ourselves to take care of them. We had guest over and even though our “welcome” email said it was $5 per guest they were all charge $10/person including a toddler who couldn’t even use a single facility. We followed up the next day with the owner about the clear over charge with all attitude possible she said “that’s what we charge because I said so”. There were no warnings and the website still states it’s $5 even with bringing it to her attention. The OWNER is very rude even for basic questions. There are so many rules here you would think they could follow one and stand behind their websites prices

Friendly service , nice snack shop , crystal clear swimming pool and large sites with water and electric. Very Quiet at night. Bicycle trail is less than a mile away.

Best campground experience we've had in a while, especially when you consider the price! Camp sites are mostly level; there are many trees, but it's not exactly shady. The ground is quite sandy, camping lots are good sized. Easy access from the highway.
The accommodations were excellent! Bathrooms are newer and clean. Showers were clean, private and hot!
Lots of family entertainment and it's all FREE, even the arcade games!! (This is why you have to pay a small fee for guests)

The pool was huge and 3-5 feet deep. Even pool toys were provided. Bathrooms and showers are right by the pool.
Highly recommend!

This was our first stay at the campground, and we were pleasantly surprised by the warm and welcoming nature of the seasonal campers. Their friendliness truly enhanced our experience.

The campground is owned by a husband and wife duo. While the husband was approachable and friendly, our interactions with the wife were less than satisfactory. We encountered a misunderstanding regarding a five-week reservation made back in January. When I reached out to clarify the issue, the conversation quickly turned unpleasant. The owner's response was unprofessional, resulting in her hanging up on me.

It's unfortunate that such a situation wasn't handled with the professionalism. Due to this experience, we have decided not to return.

Amazing experience! This campground is tucked into the woods which was nice and quiet! The owners were the ones who checked us in and they were super kind and helpful! The campground has tons of well kept amenities such as a mini golf course, jump pad, and pool! This camp also had the NICEST bathrooms I’ve ever seen at a camp! Clean and well care for!!! You can tell the owners take pride in their piece of heaven! My parents had a rv spot and my husband and I we were down by the river in a tent! Super serene and very peaceful! Was so nice to dip my feet in the cool clean water with lots of craw dads and clam shells to find! Overall I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone! Truly was such a nice night! Wish I had planned to stay more!!!!
