The trail to the falls was closed when we went, but there was still another cute little trail through the woods with a bridge.

Although the Munising Falls visiting center was closed, we did the hiking trail to the left of the center and it was breath taking. If you like to hike up hill... it is amazing.

Small but well staffed. The falls are washed out due to a storm in Spring 2025 and they anticipate it being closed until next year. This is where you purchase your car pass for Pictured Rocks. Only saw one ranger all day, probably federal cut backs.

The views were amazing. If you go on a rainy day please be careful. Make sure you have walking sticks to stabilize yourself on muddy cliffs . It is very well worth walking through and going through the obstacles. Be safe and enjoy the beautiful tails this park has to offer. There are bathrooms along the way, yet some are closed.

While the center is not large, it’s conveniently situated at the trailhead for Munising Falls, a short, easy hike along a paved path to the waterfall’s main viewing platform. The falls themselves are about 50 feet high and accessible year-round, with stunning ice formations in the winter months. For those seeking a bit more adventure, additional viewpoints are accessible via stairs
