What a beautiful campsite! Clean and well-maintained, roads in good condition, and spectacular views of Lake Superior (check it out at sunset). Highly recommended.

Twelvemile Beach Campground offers stunning views of Lake Superior and spacious, well-maintained campsites, providing a peaceful atmosphere for visitors. Campground hosts are friendly and helpful, contributing to a clean and welcoming environment. However, challenges with the reservation system and occasional mosquito swarms have been noted by guests, highlighting the need for preparation regarding bug protection and awareness of site availability.

Our campsite was clean, picturesque, large, just gorgeous, breathtaking. and everything we dreamed about. We tell everyone we know about your park and the surrounding parks to see and visit. I made my 1920 calendar out of the many scenic views of the area and waterfalls in the parks. We want to make going there a yearly event. We just cannot say enough wonderful things about the park and the campsite. I tried for months to make my reservation and it was a hassle trying to do that, but once the system was up and running, I think I was the first one to get our site and boy the wait was worth it. My only recommendation is posting the site that your hostess has so you don't get disappointed about not getting that spot. Also the site we got was even better that the hostess site and more private, so we were not disappointed at all. I cannot wait until we can up there again. My retirement trip of the year was going to Pictured Rocks and it is the most memorable trip we have had in a very long time. Your hostess was the most pleasant and helpful park hostess we have experienced at a park. Watching the thunder storm in the distance off of Lake superior was just magnificent and we tell everyone about it. I can go on and on. Thank you for asking my opinion. I believe in the Park System and support it.

Very nice location, but campground was to be open thru the end of October, yet there was no hand sanitizer in the bathrooms and the water was off. I would think since you were still collecting fees, these items would be present.
