What Guests Are Saying
Widewaters Campground is a well-maintained and peaceful location, conveniently situated near attractions like Munising and Pictured Rocks. Campers appreciated the spacious sites, clean bathrooms, and friendly hosts, Mike and Mary, who enhanced the overall experience. While some noted noise from generators and limited water availability, the majority found it to be a beautiful spot for camping with plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy.

The location is central UP and just 30 minutes from Musing and a little over an hour from Marquette. The campgrounds were pleasant and well-maintained. We would return in the future. The only drawback was the lack of cell service.

Generators should be shut off by 8pm. It was too noisy to enjoy the wilderness.

A large Fifth Wheel camper ran a gas generator every day until 10pm. My sister and her husband had the site on the opposite side of them. She talked to them though it didn't do any good. Generator went quite and they left the same day we did. It was noted by other campers also that it was disturbing in very nice, normally pristine and quiet area.
The good is a nice pristine campground and the cleanest best smelling pit toilets I've ever used!
Please implement "no gas generators"!

The camping spot is great and big. There is enough space for 4 or 5 tents and 3 cars. However, not my favorite spot because of the bathrooms and shower situation.

The site was absolutely perfect, and the campground was so lovely and peaceful. Our site was just a short walk to the lake, and it was very nicely located! We had good distance between our neighbors, but the bathrooms/water was not far! However, the water pumps were out of order for the second half of our stay, which was definitely inconvenient. But besides that, it was a wonderful stay and definitely worth it!
