Just amazing to be out here with all these birds. As many times as we stay on this river there are always new surprises and gifts.

Excellent campsite, super quiet place, good fishing.
However, bring lots of repellent for Mosquitoes and black flies...I got over 100 bites the first 3 hours we were there.
It was May, it may not be as bad at other times of the year, who knows, just be prepared.

Absolutely beautiful part of Michigan. Camp sites were clean and well maintained.

Was a great site, loved how big it was and that it is right on the water. Just wish it was noted that it is super close to site 063 because my neighbors were rude. They were loud, played music until 2am and for whatever reason had a generator.

There was no way to get to this camping spot without a boat

We always love coming up here to camp! The river and the scenery is great. Be warned that the ticks and mosquitos are no joke! We were a little disappointed with the dirt bikers and side by siders that decided to just come into our site 11D because "they needed a break", when it was obvious we were camped right there! But that is nothing that reflects on the park, just on rude people!

Such a beautiful place. Campsites were great. The ticks were bad but they are bad everywhere.
