Love this site but got rained out so we packed up Saturday afternoon and went home but love this spot due to being close to home but yet not right by town, wish there was outhouses closer to the camp sites

Make sure to get out of your tent in the middle of the night when the water is glass and the sky is clear. The reflected night sky is breathtaking with the tree line separation.

Site 78 is so beautiful, great view of river and in general this site is well maintained.

The location on map for campsite 93 is actually for campsite 92. Campsite 93 was not well maintained, had a lot of tree stumps and several more trees marked to be cut down. Also, had a lot of flies. I stopped to check out other sites, and they were much better maintained and no flies.

Under-appreciated Gem. We had an absolutely great time. This campsite is super private, very large, and fairly shaded. Even though the site is not listed as "waterfront" there is a trail that leads down to the prettiest little spot on the River, perfect for fishing. We also enjoyed Mushroom hunting, rock hounding, and bird watching. Would absolutely book this spot again.

Great rustic tent camping, restrooms were very clean and well stocked! The scenic views are amazing. Only issue is the RV Campers that like to run their GENERATORS all day and Into the night! Kinda puts a damper on things! Other than that though! Great.....

Ticks are bad. Access path has a lot of tree branches growing into it.

Designated campsites are spread along 55 miles of river shoreline between the AuSable River Access at 4001 Bridge (7 miles northwest of Glennie, MI) to near the Whirlpool AuSable River Access (4 miles west of Oscoda, MI).
