What Guests Are Saying

Steuben Lake Campsites offers a beautifully secluded location with well-maintained amenities, including a fire pit, picnic table, and bathroom hut. While the site is ideal for enjoying nature and has ample space for activities, some concerns include dangerous steps to the lake, poor fishing conditions due to invasive species, and reports of theft. Overall, it is a great value for those seeking a peaceful getaway.

Great location! The campsite is close enough to the water to get some incredible scenic views but sits just far enough away that you aren't being swarmed by mosquitoes all day. This site has a wonderfully secluded feel to it. The provided fire pit, picnic table, and bathroom hut are all well maintained and ready to use!

I love the campsite, but the steps going down to the lake are getting dangerous.

Poor fishing, the lake is full of eurasian watermilfoil. Which has effected the fish habitat. Only caught small pike, bass, and bluegill.
No walleye, even though it was supposed to have been stocked.

We just had a lot of rainy weather. Otherwise the campsite is big for kids to play games or ball. Trails for side x side. They should be made flat and closer together so kids and older people can get down without help. A rail would be helpful to

Wonderful experience except the fire pit could use some work. It was difficult to raise and lower the grate.

Fabulous lake, beautiful campsite. Be sure to pack for bugs, and enjoy the starry skies.

No recommendations for the rangers; everything was great.

I had a excellent time! Looks like they might be needing a new fire pit ring soon though, its getting cracked.
