Arrived to find the storm door inside handle still missing. Was also missing in 2021. This year the door closer was broken off, with the door being held closed with a log. We jury rigged the door to close using bungee cord. Other than the door threshold needing repair, all was fine. The gap under the doors allowed toads and mice to enter the cabin.

Beautiful location. The nights got really chilly, but the wood was well stocked and the burner kept us plenty warm.

Tom's Lake Cabin did not disappoint - roomy & cozy; nice wood stove; comfy bunks - best of all is the 360 degree view of the surrounding forest. We had plenty of snow & enjoyed snowshoeing right out the door to nearby Swan Lake & at the lovely McKeever Hills XC ski trail (another cabin is located there), just up the road off FH 13.

Tom's Lake Cabin never disappoints. Great snowshoeing on the Pine Marten Run Trail to Rumble Lake. Another great snowshoe along the Indian River also on the Pine Marten Run Trail.

It's a really great place for some peace and quiet. That is when the jetski's are not running all over that little lake . Their are cabins on the other side of the lake that seem to like to party into the wee hours in the morning. That aside. When the people in the other private cabins left Sunday, the rest of the stay was awesome. The cabin is in great condition and we enjoyed just sitting out on the porch when it rained.

This was my second time to Tom’s Lake Cabin. If I can talk my husband into that much disconnect from the outside world again, we’ll definitely be back.
We loved it!!! So serene and peaceful.

We love Tom's Lake Cabin! Even though it hit -13 in the mornings we stayed comfortable. We appreciated the well-stocked woodshed! Got out to explore some of the frozen waterfalls in the area. Definitely recommend Twin Falls! Very impressive! The only thing that could improve our stay would be more comfortable chairs for lounging in front of the woodstove. Next time we may bring our camp chairs for that.
