Lakeshore RV Campground

This was our last stop of our trip. It was my little piece of heaven! It reminded me of my home growing up. The view was beautifully set.
Emily was a breath of fresh air! Watching her and talking with her was a blessing. Her children would work right along side of her.
I want to Thank you for switching our campsite upon arrival. You made our stay peaceful and you went above and beyond!!

This is mostly an RV park, but they do have some tent sites that were just perfect. Straight view right on the lake. It was a perfect birthday getaway.

Wonderful campground! Spots are as great as the staff! Close to stores and restaurants if you want. The private beach access is a huge plus! 10/10 stay!

This was a great place to stay and explore the Eastern part of the UP! The pull thru site was easily accessible, nice loop for walking dogs. The hosts were very pleasant and helpful. The beach access was terrific for viewing Lake Michigan and the bridge. Be sure to visit Castle Rock, Whitefish Point Lighthouse, Tahquamenon Falls SP, Soo Locks at Sault Ste. Marie and of course Mackinac Island. All very convenient to this campground. Will definitely stay again if we are ever in this area.

We had a waterview RV site with full hookups (30/50 amp electric, water, sewer, WIFI). Sites are tight but manageable and the view is nice. WIFI bandwidth is like being on dial-up...really poor, but there is a good 4G/5G cell signal, so plan on using your phone as a hotspot. The beach access is across the street with great views of the Mighty Mac as well as sunsets and ships. Picnic tables were new and lightweight (easy to move). The people working there were nice and courteous. The downside is the bathrooms/showers, which look like they were built in 1960 using leftover materials. No ventilation but they do have paper towel. One of the cleaning staff indicated the owners are planning to renovate the bathrooms, which would be the minimum needed. Really needs a tear down and replacement. Bottom line: for a RV, this is a pretty nice place. If you're a tent camper, the bathrooms at the state park are better.
