Silver Sands Resort

Silver Sands was a great place for our extended family vacation. This was a return visit for a family member from 50 years ago. The view is beautiful and the accommodations are quaint and very clean.

My cousin and I recently stayed here during our visit to the area and we had a great time! The owners were very friendly and helpful, the cabin we stayed in was very neat, organized well and very clean when we arrived. The hot tub was also very nice and very clean. The location itself is also nice as St. Ignace is very close by, but you still get the nice, quiet and private feeling as it's a few miles out of town. Overall, I highly recommend staying here!

We used Silver Sands Resort for our stay during our wedding weekend for us, our bridal party and our guests, and I’m so grateful that we did! We booked cabins B-F on the beachfront for all of our bridal party and their significant others to stay with us the night before and night of our wedding, and most of our guests filled the hotel. From the first call to checking out, Jessica and the Silver Sands team made our weekend incredible! My now husband and I checked in and were greeted with roses, a bottle of wine, local pastries and rose petals in our Mr and Mrs bridal cabin (cabin D) on the beach. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, greeting us with smiles and checking to ensure we had everything we needed. Our family and friends loved the hospitality of Silver Sands from the darling cabin decor to the clean rooms and lovely staff. It was an unforgettable weekend, and we cannot wait to come back on a weekend for just us someday soon. We will recommend Silver Sands Resort to all, near and far, whether it be for a weekend stay to hosting your wedding guests!

My partner and I stayed here last weekend and we had a great experience! They were able to book a cabin for us last minute during a big storm and it ended up being the perfect end to our trip. It’s run by a super friendly couple who do a great job maintaining the cabins and grounds. The cabins are simple and rustic and have running water plus all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

Silver Sands was such a treat! My family and I spent 6 days at Silver Sand Resort and loved everything about our time there! We had 8 littles in our group who had so much fun playing on the playground by the water. Beds were cozy, cabins were clean, and the location was perfect! The owners were so responsive and helpful with any of our issues (albeit very small). They even offered a laundry service!! The small fee to come home with fresh laundry was way worth it.
We’re already looking forward to our next stay.
