Location was great for exploring the eastern UP. My site was very private and roomy. The vault toilets were very clean and not smelly. Host was helpful.

Peaceful and quiet. Lots of trees and tree cover. Sites are not on top of each other, they have forest in between many of the sites. The mosquitos are relentless in this area of the U.P. so come prepared.

Beautiful sites, close to ferry and Soo Locks. Easy drive to whitefish point. No water at campsite, but water and dump station at casino, about 7 miles south on same road. Drive through the RV parking toward stadium seating.

Hidden gem, nice camp ground: small, and isolated spaces, providing more privacy for each site. Water and pit toilets, not the worst facilities I’ve encountered while camping, but unfortunately the campground staff didn’t make an effort to clean or replenish toilet paper or sanitizer on a consistent basis. I intermittently saw the campground host making rounds but had not direct interaction with him. No firewood is sold at this location. In spite of the cleanliness of the restrooms, I would still recommend this campground, due to its proximity to St.-Ignace, expressway and camp ground layout.
