Pfeiffer Lake offers a beautiful and well-maintained campground, praised for its cleanliness, friendly hosts, and spacious sites with great fishing opportunities. Many visitors enjoyed peaceful stays, with some highlighting the pleasant swimming conditions and the scenic landscape. While there were some concerns about noisy neighbors and maintenance of certain facilities, overall experiences were positive, with a strong desire to return.

Quiet and peaceful. The restrooms for the cleanest I've ever seen. Thanks

We stayed in two campsites with our scout troop. The sites were well maintained and the perfect space. The pictures do a good job of showing what to expect at each campsite. The scouts went fishing and enjoyed cooking meals over the cookstove, since we were under high fire danger over the weekend. The scouts agreed that we would happily camp here again.

We tent camped two nights at Pfieffer Lake. After searching the campground for water, and concluding that there was none, another camper told us that it was on the wall of an unmarked brown building near our campsite. Campgrounds always have the water marked with a sign. Not here.
There are no showers or flush toilets, and the campsites are not secluded enough to enjoy bathing outdoors.
The lake has no beach, grass to the water line, and a rocky bottom.
Toilets were clean with paper but no hand sanitizer.
Our reservation was marked wrong on the site post, but we couldn't ever find the host to make sure they didn't expect us to leave on the date shown.
