I was in site 12 and would go back to the same spot. Very nice well kept campground. Walking distance to many amenities. The smell of the pine was strong. Beautiful place.

Showers and bathrooms to be cleaned and updated. One of the men's showers has the pressure turned up so high it's like getting blasted.
shower heads need cleaning and adjusting.

I spent four days here and three of the days I got a letter on my window saying I was parked on the grass. One of those times I was in the wrong, it wasn’t much grass but more of pine needles and dirt with sparse green popping up here In there but off the slab none the less. The other three times was pure dirt with no grass in sight, couldn’t even tell if it was off the slab or not and it was relentless warnings. On top of that I got warnings for parking my truck and trailer in my camp site enstead of unhooking my trailer at the access. For what reason? Beyond me. Then a truck and trailer from Arkansas parked behind our camp sight while I was out fishing, luckily my friend was at the campsite and got harassed by two park rangers being accused that he had to be with us and that we knew him and threatened to give us a ticket. We had not a clue who this guy was. If my buddy wasn’t there at the time we most likely would be paying for a fine we had nothing to do with. Never had a bad experience with a campground until this one. Will never be coming back.

Cross Lake Corp of Engineers campground has always been a first choice for us. We recently got back in to camping after a 20 year absence and we were happy to find it's still a great place to come to.
